3. Optimize Your Website
Search engine optimization (SEO) is a key part of every website. Or should at least be! A concept that covers the optimization effort you are doing to improve your rankings in search engines like Google.

4. Be active on social media
The social media is becoming increasingly important in online marketing. So make sure to be active on Facebook, Twitter and Google+. If you have a company you can create a company page or else you should link to your page in order to create value and publicity.

5. LinkedIn
LinkedIn is actually a 4th social media, although it differs significantly from the others. If you have a business or a professional profile you should sign up on LinkedIn.com. It may be the way to many professional connections.

There are many good sites where you can register your website to create value and awareness of your company. At these sites it is a condition that you have a company and not just a website:

7. Register Company” searches.
You have the opportunity to sign up your website / company to industry specific sites. Which depends a lot on the business, but if you make searches like “Register Company” or “Add Company” you will quickly find the relevant pages.

Google Adwords is the paid form of marketing in Google search engine. Here you pay X number of dollars per. click each time someone clicks to your website.
