Yummy Recipes

The venue for January 2013 Makansutra dinner was held at Yummy Recipes at Aljunied which was opened in November 2011. Yummy Claypot followers, listen up! We also had the next dishes Chicken in Pig Stomach Soup, Glutinous Rice with Wat Meat and Home made Dou Hua which I did not manage to take any images. Overall I felt that the meals at Yummy Recipes is still in need of being a full fledged restaurant. It's good but needs to lift their commonplace from the Yummy Claypot's menu. Yummy Imperial Chicken ($18 for half, $35 for full) was tenderly smooth with addictive garlic dips.

Our dinner began off with some Roast Pork Cubes ($10) which has a noisy crunching sound on the primary bite. My favorite for the night is certainly Yummy's Signature Rooster in Pig Stomach Soup ($forty six). The chicken is stuffed into the pig stomach cooking tips and cooked till tender. The mini buns has delicious custard lava filling and it was so yummy that I savoured it before taking a photograph. Dessert recipes for kids are always enjoyable.

From a shop home in Joo Chiat, Yummy Holdings expands into a full fledged restaurant with its bold and elegant decor that emphasises on antique and chinese language tradition. I understand from a few of the makansutra regulars, this is a part of the makansutra dinner tradition every year. The Yummy Imperial Rooster was nice however not memorable. The star was really the garlic dipping sauce for the hen. This is one of many easiest recipes for youths to make.
