History of Denmark
Denmark's history began at the end of last ice age. The last 12,000 years has the area now known asDenmark, been inhabited by humans. First from around 500 AD Denmarkconsists of 443 islands and islets.
First World War!
First World War I (originally The Great War) was a global military conflict which lasted from 1 august 1914 to 11th November 1918.
Second World War!
Denmark was occupied by Germany from 9th april 1940 to 5th May 1945, except lace Bornholm, where the Germans first surrendered to Soviet troops ninth May and the liberating troops only left the island 11 months later on 5 April 1946.
