Scott Tucker is an American race car driver from Kansas City, Missouri. He entered the racing scene in 2006 at 44 years of age. A late entry, but now 50 years of age he has achieved more than many others have in their whole career. This article will go over some of the most notable Scott Tucker Kansas racing victories, out of his entire 58 career wins to date.
Early Career Wins
Scott Tucker started racing in 2006, but did not achieve his first career win in the Ferrari Challenge until his 2007 season. His first win was at Infineon Raceway (in Sonoma, California) in the Ferrari Challenge. Outside of that series, Scott Tucker Kansas City pulled off a victory in the SCCA event at Texas Motor Speedway (in Dallas, Texas) when he decided to switch from using a Subaru to a Ferrari.
In 2008, Scott Tucker's racing career definitely started to take off. He competed in the Ferrari Challenge for his second season and pulled off six wins out of the 13 races that took place. This allowed him to place second in the season standings. This year, he also managed to set the Touring 1 Class track record for fastest speed in La Junta, Colorado.
Best Career Wins
His best career wins that are worth noting all occurred in the 2009 racing year. Most notably, he managed to pull off 10 wins in the 2009 Ferrari Challenge. This means that he won 10 out of 13 races, which is absolutely incredible and meant that he set a record for the most wins in one season, cementing his name in Ferrari Challenge history. This also put him in first place, taking the Ferrari Challenge championship title for that particular year. To date, he continues to participate in the Ferrari Challenge along with his Level 5 Motorsports team.
Scott Tucker has a few other impressive wins on his resume. He pulled off a victory in the 2011 SCCA Trans-Am Series event at Road America. He finished first in his 2011 class as well. With his team, he also pulled off a victory when performing in the 24 Hours of Sebring race.
All in all, Scott Tucker Overland Park has had a very impressive racing career so far. He has only been racing for five years and is continuing to compete. It is unknown what his career has in store for him at this point, but many more wins, top finishes, and achievements are definitely feasible.
