For the Country and Western/ Dance lover, there's no better place than Johnny B. Dalton's, located at 2017 N. Frazier St. , Conroe, Tx. Johnny B. Dalton's, or locally called, Dalton's is probably the most popular place in Conroe to hang out, play darts, dance and drink. Dalton's offers a fairly large dance floor with mostly country music supplied by a DJ, with the occasional hip hop or "booty" songs thrown in.
It's open daily from 7:00pm to 2:00am with "crowd drawing" promotions throughout the week such as, dance lessons on Sundays and darts tournaments on Wednesdays. The biggest crowds can be found there on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights enjoying dancing, drinking at one three separate bars, playing darts, shooting pool, or just hanging out. Papa's on the lake is probably the most versatile place to be in Conroe, as it is located on scenic Lake Conroe with a vast array of things to do, like the convenient boat slips for lake access, tables for shooting pool, an in ground pool out back, volley ball courts, video games, dart boards for playing darts and indoor and outdoor deck seating with a menu offering food and drinks from appetizers to alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
They operate Monday through Thursday from 11:00am to 12:00am, Friday and Saturday from 11:00am to 2:00am and Sundays from 12:00pm to 12:00am with live bands scheduled almost every weekend from March through September. Papa's also hosts the annual "Lake Conroe Big Bass Tournament" held in March. Great fun for everyone, Papa's on the lake has it all.

Thirsty's, located at 192 FM 3083, Conroe, Texas, is what most would consider to be a "biker bar", but it's much more than that. Thirsty's is open daily with crowd drawing promotions such as free darts and pool on Tuesdays, pool tournaments on Thursdays, a live DJ on Fridays, and drink specials Monday through Sunday from 4:30pm to 7:30 pm.
