How Banish Tinnitus Changed My Life

I grew up listening to the famous rock group AC/DC. I consider myself very lucky! They made a type of music that is all of their own. Some say it is rock, some say it is heavy metal, some say they are classic rock. I consider them to be an ageless and timeless wonder of a great rock band. Pure rock with an Australian flavor that is original. When an AC/DC song starts playing, you immediately know it! Here are my top 10 best songs by AC/DC. They are my temporary deafness personal favorite song picks. From the 70's, 80's, to the present, this band has always been rocking! Two different singers, both fabulous! If you like AC/DC, read this. You just may discover some great AC/DC songs that you never heard of! What a treasure! Let there be rock!

Breast fed babies have a very low risk of developing meningitis or severe blood infections, and have a 500 to 600 percent lower risk of getting childhood lymphoma. Breast fed babies also suffer 50 percent fewer bacteria in ears.

Another health myth concerning children is that cold and flu viruses spread the most rapidly when symptoms have not yet appeared. The truth is that these germs typically spread when they are at their worst.

Multimedia players such as Mp3 players, I-pods and more can also cause Noise-preventing hearing loss. It is due to usage of headphones and earphones. When using them, the speakers are nearer to the ear drums unlike the regular speakers that are farther to the eardrums. The more exposed you are to these kinds of gadgets, the more prone you are in hearing loss and may cause earaches.

Think about all the ways that you gather information about the world around you. You see things, hear things, smell things, touch and taste them. How about developing language? Well, in order to develop language, you have to be exposed to it. You have to hear other people talking, and learn how to decode what they're saying, before you begin to learn how to make speech on your own.

Now, let me tell you about the ringing in my ears. At first, I thought it was temporary, and that it would go away the next day. It didn't. This made me think that maybe I had an ear infection so I went to my doctor. He gave me some drops but the ringing never went away. This was just the first of many, many trips to the doctor to help stop this insane sound that was going on in my ears on an almost daily basis. Sometimes, the ringing took on a dull, throbbing sound. Other times, it got so loud and so painful I actually fantasized about how to prevent hearing loss from headphones, just so I wouldn't have to deal with the pain anymore. I thought I would have to live with it for the rest of my life!

Medicines and other substances can also lead to hearing loss. Taking aspirin in large doses is known to cause hearing problems. Hearing can also be affected by loop diuretics. These medicines are used to treat patients with high blood pressure and heart failure. Ibuprofen, naproxen, and certain antibiotics have also been linked to hearing loss.

The best way to find your ear ringing is to go to the doctor - a good doctor - and never settle for statements like "learn to live with it" and "there is no cure for tinnitus". SEE an audiologist or ear, nose and throat specialist (ENT) experienced in tinnitus treatment.
